How to arrive to Las Pocitas - Máncora

Ground transportation:
It is possible to drive towards Máncora through the Peruvian “Panamericana Norte” highway from Lima, Piura, Tumbes, Talara and other Peruvian cities through cabs and other transportation systems that also departs from the nearest airports as Punta Sal, Talara, Tumbes or Piura.

The highway to Máncora is in good conditions. However, the next section from Máncora to Las Pocitas is a road that matches the rural surrounding of the destination itself in contact with nature.

Although the trip is rather long between 16 to 18 hours by bus from Lima (734 miles), it is not as bad as it sounds. It all depends on the company you choose as transportation. This option is the primary choice of tourist traveling from Lima.

Also you can find coach services from Guayaquil – Ecuador from US$20 to US$50 for one way ticket. It takes around 8 to 10 hours trip and the cross border is safe.
